Ready to make a difference in Missoula? Enroll in the Community Dispute Resolution Center’s (CDRC) 40-hour Foundations of Mediation training, January 13th to 17th. In this training, you’ll gain the skills to help resolve conflicts through mediation.  Become a volunteer mediator and be part of a community where mediation can be a first response to conflict. 

Led by expert, experienced trainers, this comprehensive 40 hour training covers the fundamentals of mediation so that participants can make a difference. You will get hands-on practice with the different aspects of mediation including: understanding different dispute resolution processes; listening skills, non-verbal communication and problem solving; drafting effective agreements and managing the process of mediation. 

When you go through our foundations training, you will recieve the skills to become a certified member for CDRC and the Montana Mediation Association. With your certification, you can contribute to the Missoula community by participating in mediations the CDRC facilitates for the community and for the Missoula court system.
